What is the Cosmic Cuttlefish?
(For the impatient: earthlings, aliens and droids make up the crew of a Really Big Spaceship. They go around in space, see places, do stuff.)
Welcome to the Cosmic Cuttlefish, winner of the 2159 "Most Disorganized Spaceship" Prize. You would be able to see the trophy in the museum, if management hadn't lost it. Rumors say it's in one of the cells of the security area, eaten by one of the animals of the zoo. If you're wondering what zoo animals are doing in the security area... welcome to the Cosmic Cuttlefish.
Play a member of our crew! Engage in dangerous missions! Discover new planets, hang out in their bars, and try to come back healthy enough so that you don't have to see the doctor! Or play a member of the medical personel and have fun at the expense of those crew members that didn't know better than insulting the local thug while drunk!
This is a family-friendly comedy retro-sci-fi MUSH. We encourage originality and experimentation. Join the weird bunch that is our playerbase, and have fun!
What kind of facilities are aboard the Cosmic Cuttlefish?
The Cosmic Cuttlefish has all kinds of facilities. Really. Everything. The works, from 'Aachenian Aardvarks' to a 'Zygote Storage room'. You want it? There's almost certainly one, somewhere. Maybe two or three. Or even more. Because, well, organizing that many rooms is so hard and complex that when you need a particular facility it is usually simpler to either build a new one if possible, or wait until one reaches the closest planet instead of trying to locate where it's located on the ship.
Just because we haven't built it, it doesn't mean there isn't one. The grid actually represent only an infinitesimal portion of the rooms and levels available in the IC world. Please keep this in mind when you RP.
